Head bruising is an injury that does not damage the skin. There is no open wound, there is no blood; nevertheless, this injury can be very serious and cause severe and long-lasting consequences, even death.
With a head injury, two options are possible: 1) a brain contusion is the most serious injury and 2) soft tissue contusion is a less dangerous injury. Head injury may be accompanied by hemorrhage, compression of the brain, fracture of the bones of the skull. Continue reading
